I missed the Steak and kidney night this time but I am told it was good to be back at our old venue of the George at Tudeley.  The tables were arranged more suitably and the restaurant was closed to other diners.  There was plenty to eat too with two pies each!

It was good to see so many of the award winners turn up for our Presentation night this year.  It was a proud moment for some of the younger lads to receive their well deserved awards.  I would like to thank everyone concerned for presenting me with the Owls Efficiency award and the lovely glasses on an engraved tray for running this web site.  It really was an unexpected honour!  The buffet was up to the usual expectations and was really plentiful.  Many thanks to all those who contributed to the raffle by either donating prizes or buying tickets.

Our next social evening is Quiz night on Thursday 22nd May 8pm at the Ightham Club.

Well done to Tony Williamson who won the Sidcup & DMCC Long Distance Trail!  Also the team award was won by 'Kids from Kent' team comprising of Derek Baker, John Bird and Robert Rout.  Good work lads!
