52 OWLS and 29 Wobblers turned out on a nice Spring morning and, apart from a couple

of short showers, the rain that was forecast didn’t appear - although, being Bowens, the

ground ‘underwheel’ was pretty wet. So much so, that Brian had to sort out a route

diversion just to get into the top field. The sections set out by Brian and Roger turned out

to be just right and received much favourable comment from the riders returning to the

Start - muddy, but unbowed. Our thanks, then, to Brian, Roger, Barry, Dorothy and all

the clearers-up.
