MAYFIELD

 

Leave Tunbridge Wells (South) on the A267.  Straight on via Frant and Mark Cross and stay on A267 to Mayfield to large roundabout.  Turn left at roundabout up hill towards Mayfield village and on left hand bend turn right into Newick Lane. Venue is approx. 1 mile on right hand side on a left hand bend.The start will be signed from the roundabout on the A267.

Alternatively, if you are coming down the A21 and want to avoid Southborough and Tunbridge Wells town centre, stay on A21 south of Tonbridge, straight on at roundabout to pick up Pembury by-pass (dual carriageway).  Turn off at first slip road and then turn right at roundabout signpost Tunbridge Wells (note that this is the A264 from the Hop Farm and straight on at Pembury traffic lights if you are coming from Maidstone etc.)

Stay on the A264 to traffic lights at a crossroads with a pub on the opposite

left hand corner, turn left.  Road will wind through Hawkenbury and become

Forest Road.  Keep straight on to the t-juction at the end.  This is the A267.

turn left and follow directions above.

Those of you living south east of Tunbridge Wells can pick up Newick Lane from Burwash if you wish and the venue would then be on your left on a right hand bend.  If in doubt phone Bob Sutton on 07966 514567.

 

PLEASE NOTE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

Definitely no dogs allowed at this venue.

Part of the access road is single track and goes through the Landowner’s garden.

Please drive slowly and carefully and quietly. 

Riders and spectators should not attempt to leave before 11.30 am to allow for

people still arriving.

There are two gates on the access road.  The first one is electrically operated

with a push button which you should use and close. The second gate will be

manned by an OWLS member.
